Selected early by well-known tenant representative Mark Hefner, MarketOne Builders, Inc. assisted in the due diligence of the historic Rhustaller Building prior to its acquisition by the current Owner. The historic building's 3rd & 4th floors, once used as a dance hall, had been renovated over the years for use as office space. In an attempt to demonstrate the volume of the 3rd floor original ceiling heights, half of the mezzanine level of the 4th floor was removed by the previous Owner. MarketOne Builders, Inc., working with Miyamoto International and the City of Sacramento, relied upon the State Historical code to guide the design for the replacement of the previous mezzanine's infrastructure into an eye pleasing blend of steel along with the existing masonry walls. DesignTECH was instrumental in the overall theme of this one-of-a-kind space, ultimately bringing together modern and historic elements.
