Design-Build delivery of a 43,000 sf facility to support the maintenance and repair of the Sacramento RT light rail fleet of cars. The scope of work included complex recessed concrete maintenance pits, heavy structural steel platforms and coordination of site rail systems adjacent to an operational facility.
MarketOne Builders was selected by Redtail to work with RMW Architects to perform building renovations and corporate interiors. The 31,000 sf space accommodates open office workstations, conference rooms, collaboration and training spaces and a fitness center. Redtail’s office exemplifies the definition of a cool tech space by boasting a slide connecting the second and first floors and encouraging their employees to bring their dogs to work, hence their logo.

In 2017, Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange (SRBX) relocated their association offices and training center to a newly renovated building on Elvas Avenue in East Sacramento. MarketOne Builders was selected by SRBX to work with Moniz Architecture of Sacramento to provide the exterior and interior renovations. With more than 10,000 sq ft of space, SRBX is able to provide training, networking and support to the Sacramento building industry. MarketOne Builders is proud to be a member of this great association.
MarketOne Builders was selected by the Sacramento Kings to build their new 38,000 sq ft offices on the fourth floor of the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel, directly across from the Golden 1 Center and overlooking the Downtown Commons. With their new office, the Sacramento Kings were able to consolidate two offices and 230 staff members to single, open office space. Beyond the offices core, a 6,748 sq ft outdoor entertaining space overlooks the arena with views of the Tower Bridge to the Capital. Also included in the new office space are private executive offices, a wet bar, private HR facilities, accounting and auxiliary meeting rooms and a variety of collaborative spaces.
In 2007, MarketOne Builders was selected by Raley’s to construct a freezer and cold storage facility within their existing bakery facility in West Sacramento. The specialized cold storage floor was built over the existing concrete slab with heat strip and aggregate designed to withstand the expansion and contraction of the freezing temperatures.
MarketOne Builders was selected by Raley’s to upgrade the mission critical power sources and distribution in their existing data center located at their headquarters building in West Sacramento. A new electrical service from PG&E as well as an upgrade to the existing main switchgear, UPS system, emergency generator and dedicated cooling to the facility was required while not impacting existing services and capabilities. The critical nature of this data center, which serves as the backbone for all of the Raley’s family of grocery stores, goes without mention. A momentary loss of communication between this data center and their retail locations can result in significant losses in their operation. MarketOne Builders worked with a hand selected set of subcontractors and consultants to coordinate and implement this significant successful upgrade.
MarketOne Builders was selected for this fast-paced, highly technical project by RagingWire’s management team due to our wealth of experience in building a strong team and our commitment to make this project a success. This state-of-the-art enterprise data center was the result of a design narrative prepared by Ellerbe-Beckett which provided the concept and design parameters for the project. It was then MarketOne Builders’ task to assemble a group of qualified and driven design/build subcontractors and design professionals to make the schematic a reality. Typical for these types of projects, work began in the field prior to construction documents being finalized in order to meet the time-sensitive schedule. MarketOne Builders’ project team was able to meet the completion requirements for RagingWire within days of our original anticipated schedule, further serving as a testament to our commitment to delivering projects on-time and within budget. The 90,000 sq ft phase I opened for business in March 2001 and a completion of the remaining 91,000 sf in the following years.
