Arch Nexus | SAC

Arch|Nexus SAC is a full building renovation and technical fit out for the “Living Building Challenge” certified facility. This building is one-of-a-kind, boasting sustainable features such as rain water harvesting, photovoltaic power, waste composting and is free from materials deemed harmful to the environment. Of the 19 Living Certified projects, Arch |Nexus SAC is the first in the world to be an adaptive re-use of an existing building. No other project in the world exists like it. Every single building material item, including every last nail and panel, was reused. This project has garnered a number of sustainable and green building awards, including both an Engineering News-Record (ENR)-Northern California’s Green Project of the Year as well as the ENR National Award for Best Green Project Completion. The project was also recognized locally as the 2017 Best Real Estate Project by Sacramento Business Journal. The project was completed in December 2016.
